The Exchange was created by state law in 2013 to help people get affordable health care coverage and is governed by a thirteen member board. Our goal is to help New Mexicans find affordable health insurance that fits their needs.
Who Is the Exchange For? Those without health insurance. Small businesses with 50 employees or fewer. Those currently buying their own insurance but would like more options and affordability.

As the designated State Commission on service and volunteerism, the New Mexico Commission for Community Volunteerism (NMCCV) administers funding to AmeriCorps State programs in New Mexico.
The Commission’s mission is to engage citizens of New Mexico of all ages and backgrounds in community based service; such service will address New Mexico’s human, educational, environmental, public safety, health, housing and other needs to achieve direct and beneficial results.

The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) serves as the link between New Mexico’s employers and the trained workforce they need. The Department fosters and promotes the welfare of the job seekers and wage earners and strives to advance their opportunities for profitable employment. NMDWS administers a variety of federal programs including unemployment insurance, Wagner-Peyser Act employment services, and Veterans services. The department enforces labor laws, including the guarantee of workers’ rights to safe and healthful working conditions, the minimum hourly wage and overtime pay laws, and the freedom from employment discrimination as dictated by the New Mexico Human Rights Act.
